Angels is 'n vokale groep wat bestaan uit 17 hoogs talentvolle kinders tussen die ouderdomme van 11-14. Hulle het almal een ding gemeen - om geseën te wees met uitsonderlike stemme. Die Angels is almal lede van die internasionaal bekende Tygerberg Kinderkoor, een van die Kaap se trotse uitvoerprodukte is onder leiding van hoog aangeskrewe koormeester Hendrik D. Loock. Te danke aan Hennie Loock se fokus op klankkwaliteit en 'n unieke musikaliteit, het Tygerberg Kinderkoor bykans elke internasionale koorkompetisie die afgelope 36 jaar gewen. Tygerberg Kinderkoor was die logiese keuse vr die Voice of Angels-projek.
Hul eerste CD met treffers soos Adiemus, Tears in Heaven, Somewhere over the Rainbow, You Raise me Up, O Holy Night, The Lord is my Shepherd, Danny Boy, Climb Every Mountain en My Heart Will Go On se verkope het reeds alle verwagtinge oortref.

| Extract from the Academy's website: Returning to Cape Town, the Summit participants gathered in historic St. George's Cathedral, spiritual home of the struggle for justice and democracy in South Africa. Entering the awe-inspiring interior of the cathedral by candlelight, the group was greeted by the best of South Africa's celebrated children's choirs: the internationally renowned Tygerberg children's choir, the Kenmere Primary School Choir, the Kensington Chorale, the South African Youth Choir and the elite Voices of Angels group. The combined choruses -- nearly 300 voices in all -- gave a spine-tingling demonstration of South Africa's distinctive choral tradition, singing songs of praise from South Africa and the United States.
